After closing up the bar she manages, and going out drinking, 33-year-old Jamie Stickel

dries back home to her apartment.

Charlie thereafter, Jamie's Jeep Wrangler is found in golfed and flames near her front

door, and her badly burned body is in the driver's seat.

Even though some of Jamie's personal items are scattered on the ground, and there is a blood

trail to suggest she was attacked, there is not enough concrete evidence to classify

her death as a homicide.

As a result, Jamie's cause of death is officially ruled to be undetermined, and the exact circumstances

of how the fire started remain unknown.

After that, the trail went cold.

I'm your host Robin Warder, and today we're going to be covering a case which can best

be described as a true head scratcher, the 2002 death of Jamie Stickel.

I've received a few requests to cover this story, and while it's not particularly

well known, I became intrigued by the case once I started delving into it.

I've covered a number of unsolved mysteries on this podcast in which you can come up

with a fairly concrete theory about what happened, but this is definitely not one of them.
