February 10th, 1990, Las Crucesse, New Mexico.

A pair of armed gunman enter a bowling alley called the Las Cruces-Bolle and bring everyone into the manager's office.

After stealing some money from the safe, the assailant fires

fires several bullets into seven people before fleeing the scene.

Three of the victims, 33-year-old Idaho-Gine, 34-year-old Stephanie Scenac, and her 12-year-old daughter,

Melissa Repass, managed to survive.

But the four others, 13-year-old Amy Hauser, 26-year-old Stephen Taran, his six-year-old

stepdaughter Paula Hoagien and his two-year-old daughter, Valerie Duran, are pronounced dead. While the crime generates a lot of publicity,

the two perpetrators are never caught and their true motive for the murders remains up for debate.

the Las Crucesus Bowling Alley Massacre.

Rob requested that I cover this case when he originally entered the contest,

and this will be one of the most harrowing and senseless crimes ever featured on the podcast.

It involves a massacre which took place at a bowling alley in which seven people, four of them children, were shot by two men during an apparent robbery.

Four of the victims were killed and one of the survivors wound up dying of
