Today on the podcast, we've got more details about the life and death of baby Preston Davy.

We've heard evidence that when he was handed over to the two men who adopted him, he was

fit, happy and healthy. Four months later, he was dead.

In those four months, Preston went to hospital several times, once with a broken arm,

and then on another occasion the hospital raised concerns with the police,

but there was no

investigation. In videos and pictures which have now been shown to the jury, Preston can be seen

consistently naked on one occasion in a bath with no water in. One video shows him playing

happily in the bath, but then crying in fright when Jamie Varley loudly shouts,

boo. And in a series of pictures, Preston is seen naked and comments are allegedly made

by Jamie Varley about his genitals. Today we also have the evidence from friends and colleagues

of Jamie Varley, who said he was struggling with the lack of sleep and had dark

thoughts about harming Preston. And how he allegedly questioned if Preston's death could be the fault

of his birth mother who may have used drink and drugs when she was pregnant. Welcome to
