captivated Australia has reached its grim conclusion. Aaron Patterson, the 49-year-old woman at the center of what became known as the Beef

Wellington murders, was found guilty Monday of deliberately poisoning three of her estranged

husband's relatives with death-cap mushrooms.

After six days of deliberation following a nine-week trial that played out like a dark

culinary thriller, the jury

delivered unanimous guilty verdicts on all counts.

Aaron Patterson showed no emotion as her fate was sealed, though witnesses noted rapid blinking

as the verdicts echoed through the Victorian Supreme Court.
