became a victim inside the comfort of his own home, a devastating case that has yet to see a

conclusion. So if you like your coffee hot but your bones chilled, sit back and start your day with a morning cup of murder.

On February 4th, 2021 at 9.37 p.m., officers in Birmingham, Alabama were called to the Kimbrough Holmes housing community after shots were fired.

Shots that, according to the 911 calls,

hit a young child. When they arrived at the scene, they found Major Turner, just two years old,

lying on the living room floor of his home, suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper extremities.

Transporting the boy immediately to the Children's Hospital of Alabama, they later found that Major's mother was also wounded

and sent her to the UAB Hospital for treatment.

She was later released, but Major never left the hospital. He succumbed to his

injuries and died that very same day. According to their investigation, the toddler had just

finished dinner with his family and was sitting on the couch with his mother and another sibling

when out of nowhere,

gunfire erupted outside on John Bryant Road.

With two more siblings upstairs watching television, chaos ensued as bullets began pelting their apartment.
