As the salesman's silhouette faded into the distance, Beck and Nash couldn't shake the feeling that their adventure was far from over.

Old Red hummed beside them with his newly polished frame gleaming in the late afternoon

sun. Suddenly, a warm breeze rustled through the trees and Beck and Nash could hear the faint

sounds of whispers. Beck turned his head straining to make out the words. Listen, Beck said to Nash.

Can you hear that?

And Nash nodded slowly.

Yeah, it's like the wind is trying to tell us something.

Hey, Nash, Beck said, with his eyes still fixed on the horizon, don't you think we should

find out more about that salesman?

I mean, he gave Old Red all these cool new powers? What if he's done

this kind of stuff before? For other tractors and cars and machines? Nash nodded. Yeah, and what

about that magic key? There's got to be more to it than just fixing up tractors. Then Beck and

Nash exchanged a grin as Beck hopped on to Old Red.

What do you say we go on a little road trip, Beck said?

Nash's eyes widened. But how? We can't just leave town. And Beck patted the tractor's seat.

I bet Old Red knows exactly where to find him. After all, he's magic, right?

And then as if in response, Old Red revved his engine,

and before the boys knew it,

they were zooming down the country road,

leaving their small town behind.
