you know I think people maybe know this but I realized I never you know because we even when

I was doing the introduction with like titles like Dr. Scott Keith and stuff I very infrequently

if ever,

mentioned that you are the executive director of 1517.

Like I think listeners could listen and not know that.

I think so.

I've met plenty of people at conferences that have until I get up and do like the,

I get here to stand in San Diego until I get up and do like the executive I get here with the stand in San Diego until I get up and do like the

executive director, state of 1517 talk type thing at the Saturday night dinner.

They're like, oh, so you're like the director of this thing?

I'm like, yes.

You're probably one of the most under the radar executive directors ever because

the organization isn't named after you.

Well, it's also been from the beginning, one of the goals of 1517 to not make it centered on any one

personality or person and to really diffuse that among the thinking fellowship in general.

And so I've never really felt it as necessary to walk around going,

oh, I'm the executive director.
