Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk Radio.

It's back to the grindstone for all those hardworking MPs today.

They're all heading into Westminster to kickstart the Brexit debate because of course they haven't been able to talk about Brexit since last Thursday

when they also didn't talk about Brexit either

because they were too busy asking people why they kept saying bad words

that were hurting everybody's feelings.

They'd all be arriving, of course, just in time for everybody else to be going home.

2.30 in the afternoon is when they're going to start working in the House of Commons.

Talk about gentlemen's hours. I mean, I may be inappropriately genderizing them there,

but I mean, I really do think they should have started work a little bit early.

They went to all the trouble last Thursday of actually not managing to adjourn Parliament in order

to let the Tory Party Conference go ahead. Tory Party Conference is going ahead nonetheless.

Meanwhile, there's a meeting being held a cabal, if you like, by the leader of the Labour Party,

the leader of the Lib Dems, the Leader of the Greens, the leader of the SNP in Westminster,

and I think even the leader of Plaid Cunery, and they're all going to sit around in the dark corridors of power

talking about who should take over in Downey Street, who should be made temporary Prime Minister.

Well, I'll tell you what, never mind who's temporary Prime Minister, Boris Johnson is the permanent Prime Minister for the moment,

unless you want to have an election.
