Hello, everybody. My name is Amela Epinobi. My pronouns are she, her, hers. I am a cis-hat woman. Today, I have taken the mic and I will be speaking first because I am the most oppressed in this room by virtue of being a black female.

Before I speak and before we get into today's video, I would like to acknowledge that we are standing or sitting on stolen land. This is the land of the Fernandino people, so we'll have a moment of silence.

Before we get into today's video, guys. Today, I guess I'm kind of putting on the hat of a leftist. We're going to be reacting to some leftist, gender, tiktoks, and I'll be telling you what I think about him. Let's get into it.

Before we get into this video, a lot of you have been asking me how you can support the show now that I'm independent. I've made a Patreon, the link is in the description down below.

So support if you want to support if the message resonates with you and you want to see it spread. Again, the link is in the description down below. Now, let's watch these crazy gender tiktoks.

1:02.0

Transmen don't need to be like cis men at all in order to be men. Transmen don't need to know that they're a man from a really young age. They don't need to play with chucks as a little boy. They don't need to hate the color pink and purple. They don't need to hate dresses.

1:14.0

Transmen can love to our makeup. Transmen can be of any sexuality. Transmen don't even have to feel like men if they don't want to. They can be by gender and feel like both men and women.

1:23.0

They can be non-binary and feel like both either a combination of the two or something completely different. They can use he pronouns, she pronouns, they pronouns, it, it's, and he pronouns.

1:34.0

They also don't have to be predators in the way that some people think cis men are. They don't invade queer spaces because they are queer people and they have lived experiences and marginalized gender.

1:43.0

They are inherently harmful because being associated with masculinity doesn't make anybody harmful.

1:48.0

They don't have to go on testosterone or want to go on testosterone. They don't have to want top surgery. They can want to have breasts. They can want to have a vulva.

1:56.0

And none of those experiences invalidate the experiences of any man, cis or trans. Because gender is literally anything that you want it to be and can look like whatever you want.

2:06.0

And the most beautiful thing about being trans is that every single person does it differently.

2:10.0

If gender is literally anything that you want it to be, to me that signals that it is not founded in any sort of reason or logic and that it in fact is going to have no meaning at all.

2:24.0

If you can just run around and show up with any set of characteristics while still calling yourself a man, then it's in fact devalued what it means to be a man.

2:32.0

And don't get me wrong, I understand the thinking behind this video.

2:35.0

We're all unique individuals, right? And we want to show up in the world in that way and make our mark on the world and some of us do that by identifying by this that in the other.

2:44.0

Even though we have female parts and we look like a woman to, you know, most of the reasonable world, we still want to call ourselves trans men.

2:53.0

And I think that is what's being safeguarded in this video, this ability to still look like a woman, act like a woman, talk like a woman, even use she, her or they then pronouns.

3:03.0

While being identified as a trans man, the interesting thing is we find ourselves leaving our binary system in order to take on these identities when you could be all of the things that were just expressed, you know, sans the pronouns and the weird identification names within a binary system.

3:22.0

You could be a woman who dresses masculine, who acts more masculine and who takes on a generally more masculine role within our society.

3:30.0
