When Millie Vanilli released their debut album, Girl You Know It's True in 1989, the German

pop duo were made to rule the charts.

Fab Morvin and Rob Palatis were almost too good to be true.

They were good looking, and their album with its catchy synthesizer songs was a massive hit that topped the charts for weeks.

Then in February 1990, they won the Grammy for Best New Artist.
