Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

I am in Jerusalem, and we are at the Tomb of Mary,

the place of her. Tomb of Mary, her assumption, or otherwise known as her dormition, the falling asleep.

This is a very ancient church and a very powerful place to be.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Now there is a very strong tradition coming from Jerusalem of the assumption of Mary.

A document called the Transitus MaMaurier, which in turn is based on the writing of an

apostle of John, the apostle, relates that Mary lived next to the church of the last supper room, the upper room on Mount

Zion. We were there yesterday. She did so because she wanted to be close to Jesus, her son in the Eucharist.

The Church of the Door Mission is now over what was her home. The angel Gabriel made known to her that her time on earth was growing short.

She prayed for the apostles to return for all but James the

last had been sent on mission throughout the world. James the less was Bishop of

Jerusalem. Mary visited all the holy sites in Jerusalem one last

time. All the living apostles returned except for James the Greater who had been killed and Thomas for poor
