because it's the time of year when we sing and we sit around the fire and we tell stories and we play games.

Our theme at the moment is fairy tales from around the world.

Today the story is from Denmark. It was put into print by Danish writer Hans Christian

Anderson. It's told by Paul Albra who really makes me laugh.

It's a teeny bit scary because it has got a witch in it and three giant dogs.

But it's worth powering through the witchy bit because it's a great

listen and it's more funny than scary and it has a very happy ending. Now just

before we go over to Paul, I have a little task for you.

Since it's coming to the end of the year when we all try to look back at the good things that have happened. Can you think of three memories which

you'd put in your bag of hackies for this year? It might be something fun you've done this

week, or it might be something brave you've had to face this year or even a new

sibling or a pet which arrived in your family.
