Well, good morning, everybody.

Who's glad to be in church today?

Happy New Year's Eve, everybody.

So glad you're here.

I want to take a moment and welcome our campuses that are joining us right now.

Everybody that's joining us online, as well as the Alabama Department of Correction

Facilities, you guys are family to us we love you very much how about here at

grants mill can we clap our hands and say a big hello that's awesome I do want to take a

moment also an honor our pastor pastor Chris what an amazing leader I'm so grateful as I

was watching that year in review video,

how thankful I am for a leader that leads us so well, but gives us the opportunity to be the

hands and feet of Jesus. What an incredible year of 2023 was. I know we've clapped a lot,

but can we just celebrate one more time all that God has done? This year is amazing.

And of course, I'm honored that Pastor Chris would let me share today as well.

Next Sunday, though, you need to know, and I want to remind you, he's starting a brand new series

that's going to be all about spiritual growth. And so I'm very, very excited. You don't want to miss it at all.

Also next Sunday, very fired up, about 21 days of prayer and fasting starting. We're really, really excited.

And I'll take a little bit about that if you're not familiar with what 21 days of prayer is for us here

at Highlands. We take these 21 days from January 7th through the 27th, and every Monday through

Friday we pray at 6 a.m. right here in this auditorium at our campuses. On Saturdays we meet at 9 a.m. for prayer.

And then on Sundays we have church during that three week period.

But we also have a time of fasting that we encourage everybody in the church to participate
