Yes, yes, welcome into the Tim McEarn and show on the Inside STL PODCAST Network, and we have a rare

0:08.1

treat for you. It used to be weekly. When we started the podcast, October 1st, 2017, every week,

0:15.9

every week for two and a half years, approximately, I guess, just shy of two and a half years,

0:22.4

every week. We had a new guest. I think we did two part interviews over the course of that

0:29.7

time. But every week, interviews, and then the pandemic hit, and my reasoning for pulling off

0:38.4

the every week interviews was because I just didn't think if it was somebody I really didn't have a

0:43.6

rapport with, you can get that same comfort level. And therefore, quality of interview,

0:51.5

via Zoom, or certainly via phone. I think I did maybe two interviews, Thysman and a guy who

0:57.3

was a founder of ESPN over the phone in a pre-pandemic on the podcast. But anyway, my Clayborne

1:07.6

does not fall into the category of someone I don't have a rapport with. I have known him since

1:14.7

I think 1998. I think that is when I met him, and that's when I was interning at KFNS.

1:22.3

And he was the program director in the afternoon drive host. And so, Claves and I, in 2018,

1:31.3

at Spring Training, he came over to our place, and I said, hey, we're just going to do

1:38.5

something with podcasts and want to talk for two hours. I mean, just there's nobody around,

1:44.0

it's the exact same table at which I'm sitting right now as a matter of fact. And we just went,

1:48.8

and I don't know how long. That's a great interview. I would go back and listen to that too.

1:53.2

Well, we're just able to just kind of flow. And we could do that on a phone. We could do that

1:58.9

in an interview setting in a studio, and we could certainly do it via Zoom. And that is what we have

2:05.0

for you here today. In kind of a concerted effort amongst our entities, this podcast will play

2:17.3

on Claiborne's site, clavesonline.com. And it will also play on my podcast network inside STL.

2:28.4

And I believe Claves wanted to release it in two parts. And so, cool with me, whatever he wants to do.

2:36.8

Doesn't really change anything. I think it's around two hours. And I think that what you're
