In my neck of the woods, how have you braved the snow?

It's kind of a slush scenario. It's the best case thing. People are cleaning the sidewalks with squeegees. It's like, yeah, just the good shit, that good New York stuff. I love wet, heavy, dirty snow. Yeah, it's cool. It's cool. Sliding my feet around and some slightly damp socks on that. I'm sorry if this is getting... This is actually way more erotic than we usually are at this point in the podcast,

and I'm going to... Let me dial that shit back.

New York's the worst snow, because for, like, five minutes,

it's pristine and clean and white and fluffy and everything you want from snow.

And then a bus rolls by within six seconds.

I love, I've come to love those. I call them like those big structures of like blackened snow,

like studded with garbage, like condoms and fucking grapes, like Welsh's grape soda cans.

I call them fart mountains. And I haven't photographed them as vigorously this year, but in the past, I've made that a real subject for myself.

Yeah, it looks like snow cancer.

Yeah.

It's just like, because it reminds you, too, it's like everything that's stuck on that snow, like, just casually, that is breathed into your body.

Like, it doesn't, you can't see it because

it's on the inside, but it's like, except for the soda cans and the like, whatever, shards of, like,

takeout containers. It's basically, all of that is in my body. And the runoff, my wife used to call it

city soup where, like, because, because, like, drainage was blocked or just too slow. Like, every intersection right where you step into the intersection, that's where the puddle is. Yeah. And there are times when it's like 10 feet long. I know. These, like, all these, like, poor older people, like, shuffling around it and you're just like,'s not going to work midge like there is no way through

like your ankles are going to be wet this is this is the bargain that you made when you chose to live

in the city that is also very expensive and where the trains don't work anymore like it's harder

to see what the good point is there's some good sandwiches here i always want to do the long jump over

it like there's the kid in me it was like i can do this. I can make this. And then I leap across and I'm easily a foot or two short and it's just soaked right up to the ankle and down the sock. Yeah. I've certainly been there. I have a friend who hurt his knee jumping over one of those. Like, it was one of those sort of like when you find out that you're washed and you didn't know it going in. And like he just sort of attempted to do that and then needed to like tour his MCL. It was like, wow, cool. Like great. I'm 36. That's a perfect preseason baseball player injury. It's definitely like they would try to say that it's like, you know, like a non-baseball

related thing. And then later on it turns out that it was just like a really slushy day. And he was trying to get on the six at 28th Street. Yeah, yeah. That would happen to a Met. Just absolutely no doubt about it. It's a miracle that that hasn't. I mean, like, it's, I think given the way that the last couple seasons have been like,
