Summary

When a young woman is made to go out in a blizzard to find strawberries, she instead finds a cottage where three mysterious little elves live. After showing them great kindness, the elves decide to give her three gifts: to grow happier every day, to have gold pieces fall from her pockets whenever she speaks, and to have the king as her husband. Soon she finds her life more joyful than she could ever have imagined it, until her wicked stepmother arrives to try to take it all away. Will she succeed?
