Have you ever felt something strange about the place we live in?

As a child, our storyteller and her family moved into a house where she witnessed a few things.

People who weren't there were worthy.

My name is Edward and here is Alexa's true scary story.

I moved from a three-family house to a one-family house in a town called Medford in Massachusetts.

It's about ten minutes north of Boston.

And it was built, I would honestly say, probably 1900, if not even a little bit earlier than that.

And it was a really large house.

There were three bedrooms in a full bathroom upstairs, a study, a large living room and dining room.

But when we moved in needed a lot of work.

The upstairs we couldn't live in and so that was the first thing my father started to redo.

So there was always like plaster over the stairs, but you always had to walk past the stairs in order to get to my bedroom, my father's bedroom, the bathroom.

So it was always like a creepy spot for us.

But I was probably about four at the time.

So we're talking very early 90s, probably 92.

And I didn't know anything about spirits or the paranormal at the time.

I just was a little kid playing, running around on the youngest of four.

So I didn't have many kids to play with because they were all older off doing their own thing.

And I remember I was walking to our bedroom and this was in the afternoon.

I'd probably say three or two or three in the afternoon.

And I looked up the stairs and the tarp happened to be down.

So I couldn't see the stairs clearly.
