Welcome. It's another look into the life and message of Elizabeth Alliet who called us to live

to a higher standard and not be satisfied with just a little religion in life. As the series

continues in the coming days, we'll hear from family friends and others all influenced by the

ministry of Elizabeth Alliet.

Today, we begin a five-part series on the therapeutic movement. With the first two of that

Gateway to Joy series, Try God First is part one, and then later on today, too much talk.

We'll be joined by a friend of Elizabeth, writer Dele Heli, who talks about what's

important to know about Elizabeth. Also, we'll hear from Janet and Jeff Bench,

Why-Wam Authors. We'll talk about when they first heard about Jim and Elizabeth Alliet.

First, though, it's the therapeutic movement part one, Try God First.

You are loved with an everlasting love. That's what the Bible says.

And underneath are the everlasting arms. This is your friend, Elizabeth Alliet, beginning a

series on the therapeutic movement. I want to start with some therapy from Scripture.

It's in John 14 verse 22, Judas, not Judas Iscariot, said to Jesus, but Lord, why do you intend to

show yourself to us and not to the world? Jesus replied, if anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching.

My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own.

They belong to the Father who sent me. All this I have spoken while still with you,

but the counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name,

will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

Peace, I leave with you. My peace, I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.
