I would like to speak to you today about the theology of work.

I have in my preaching of a thousand sermons at Hungary,

Jen, this is probably a thousand 60th, have never preached on work. But today it's going to be

the first time that I'm going to do that. And I believe it's a very important message.

The reason being is because the first thing we meet about God in the Bible

is not Savior, healer, or deliverer. We meet God as a worker. In fact, we meet God as a creator.

So all of the creatives in here and you take pride, even your Instagram says creator,

you are reflecting the image of your creator.

To some degree, all of us are hashtag creators.

Because our God's nature, his first attribute that we saw in the Bible, wasn't out, be healed.

But let there be light.

Let there be waters.

He is a worker.

In fact, Genesis chapter 2, verse 2 and 3, it says the following.

Verse 2, on the 7th day day god had finished his work of creation so he rested from all his work i want you to see this that god works and then we see in

genesis one god looks at his work his work didn't give him a paycheck, but it gave him satisfaction.

In Psalms, it says God's works praise God, meaning God's works declare God's nature. God's works

brought him satisfaction. God didn't work so he can get paid. God worked so he can have

satisfaction. He found joy, honor, and pride in his work. Looked back at his word and said,
