There's a better way to this Let me show you a better way

Hi folks and welcome to the Thanksgiving Day special of the Survival Podcast.

This show is based on an original broadcast that was done from my car.

When you're about to hear was done from memory and a couple note cards while doing about

65 to 75 miles an hour down the highway weaving in and out of traffic one day before Thanksgiving

back on November 26, 2008.

Over the years many of the people in the forums took different episodes of the podcast

and put them into transcripts and this was one of the first one that was ever put into

a transcript and so I'll be reading from that transcript in just a moment.

A couple of years ago I did this and when I did it I did it because the original one

from the car had been remastered and remastered and it had just lost its audio quality

and it was always sub-par audio quality beginning with because it was something from such

early days of the show again all the way back 2008 so decided to go ahead and redo it

this time around and if you're listening to this it could be 2018 or it could be

2028.

My hope with this episode is that I'm so happy when I'm done with it this time around

that it just becomes the one I can rerun every year without touching and just change

the episode number on it.

I do try to really relax for our holidays.

The family holidays for me have always been a big thing and I'll tell you what it goes

back to when I was coming up in the world originally professionally I was in the world

of telecommunications and I worked long hours, a routine shift without any extra hours
