It's been a pleasure doing this with you and we are right now in the beginning of our third season. The horror season is upon us. It is officially scared tober.

And Amy, this is a classic that I have to say. I was legitimately nervous to watch.

Are you a little baby who doesn't like blood?

I truthfully, I don't like the feeling of, and we talked about this last week, a little bit like the saw or hostile. I don't want to be totally grossed out.

I don't mind being scared, but I get nervous when I feel like it's going to be mutations or graphic violence.

But spoiler alert, it's surprisingly not that graphic, but hell of scary. And yeah, I said hell of scary. I don't know if I used it right. I feel awkward now that I say it, but it is like terrifying from the get go.

Like I was like as the titles rolled. I was a good boy. And I know we're going to get into it, but I just want to say like this is the first movie that we've put on where I was like, I'm a little nervous here.

I had to like brace myself for what we are. I know the one night that I chosen to watch it, having to be the one night in three years when LA had a lightning and thunderstorm.

That's great. Great timing. Great timing, Nicholson. Saturn is in retrograde. But I should say clearly maybe right here. If you are a person who does not like blood, actually you do have my empathy. I have not watched a hostile either.

And I've only seen the Chris Rocksaw, which I know is very weird. I get weird about like people chipping teeth, people pulling nails. I don't like that stuff either. I can't handle it. If you are nervous about that, there really isn't that much blood in the text exchange.

It is just psychologically and atmospherically terrifying. But if you're a blood fob, you might maybe be okay. Maybe. I, well, I think that one of the things that's really interesting about the directing of this film. And again, we're going to break this down. This is normally our pre-chat. But I will say a lot is done like an old 1940s or 1950s movie where quick cuts allow your mind to go to places that are a lot more important than that.

And I think that's what I found so exciting about this movie is like, oh, wow, this is actually really well done. Like they probably could have amped up the door. It wasn't like someone was over there shoulder-bring. Oh, you can't do this. But because a lot of it exists in your head.

I think this movie carries a weight to it that is a lot more. It's terrifying. The movie is terrifying without being gross.

I think that's fair. I mean, it's definitely not gross. I mean, there's a lot of gack. I mean, it's definitely gross. Well, look, we have a whole, we have a whole show break it all down.

But what we're doing now is trying to.

So comfort the people who are a little nervous to watch. Yeah, I think it's worth the watch. I'm a scaredy cat when it comes to stuff like this and. And yeah, I had a great, great time watching this movie and was also incredibly freaked out, but not freaked out like someone was going to be coming in here like my wife,
