A Daily Segment telling Steelers Nation what's on our mind.

I'm Alex Kazora. I'll pick up where Josh Carney left off yesterday

discussing the Alan Robinson trade. Josh did a good job explaining the on-field benefit of what Robinson offers his resume,

versatility, how he rounds out the room. I agree with everything he said. But to add on

one more thing I love what Robinson could offer that's intangible.

That's leadership. I've said throughout this off season in posts, tweets, and even mentions on this terrible take that a veteran receiver would really tie the room together.

To be fair, the Steelers' room, Pre-Robbinson, had experience. They had snaps, but there wasn't a clear-cut leader.

Deontay Johnson did try to assume that role last year, but his own frustrations would sometimes get in the way.

Beyond that, the room was really young. George Pickens and Calvin Austin each are in their second year and

of course Austin missed his entire rookie season.

Now Robinson will have to adjust to Pittsburgh, learn the system, get comfortable in that

room, but that'll come with time.

And he can be a leader in presence to those other guys.

He's 29, already going into his 10th season, and he has been around it all a high draft pick very productive
