Welcome to the Terrible Take, a daily segment telling Steelers Nation what's on our mind.

I'm Alex Kizora. If there is a defining element to Sunday's game against the Colts,

it's red zone play. Pittsburgh's offense has been great there this year. They were 100%

against the Packers. The only problem? the Steelers made just one red zone trip.

Too many drives stalled out in the fringe right around Green Bay's 35-yard line.

There's a chance to do more, a lot more, against the Colts, who, if there's a weakness,

have not been great with their own red zone defenses, ranking just

18th, entering week nine. This game will probably feature plenty of points. Seven of the eight

games the Colts have played this year have combined for at least 45 points, five of them 50 or more.

Granted, the Colts were often the ones doing the scoring and some opposing offenses found

the end zone in garbage time late.

But the Steelers also know Indies DC, Lou Anerumo, well from his days in Cincinnati, and

have had success against him.

Pittsburgh has a team that can win the shootout.

It's a departure from the past and frankly not where the team wants to be.

But the Steelers are capable. That means more Red Zone trips and finishing drives off.

It means not slumping in the second half, especially in the third quarter where this team has struggled.

It means running up the score against the Colts, hoping for a defensive

takeaway to steal a possession and go win the game, to avoid a three-game losing streak for

an eighth straight season and to inject some positivity that's been missing the last two weeks.
