April 4, 2025 - Season 15, Episode 115 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning episode, Josh Carney and Ross McCorkle both sit in for Alex Kozora, who is limited with an upper body injury. We start this show by going over a recent debit to the salary cap that the Pittsburgh Steelers received on Thursday that revolves around former WR Mike Williams. I explain why that debit came as a surprise. While we are all waiting for free agent QB Aaron Rodgers to make his decision, the three of us discuss his possible contract asking price and especially on the heels of Las Vegas Raiders QB Geno Smith agreeing to a two-year extension on Thursday. We also talk about where the Steelers are most likely to select a quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft and if they would dare consider picking one in the first round. The Steelers have had several more pre-draft visitors at their facility since our Wednesday show so the three of us go over that full list of players. Texas WR Matthew Golden, who many believe will be a first-round selection this year, was one of those recent visitors so we discuss his trip to Pittsburgh and what it might mean. All three of us discuss several members of the wide receiver and running back draft class this year as it relates to the Steelers. Might the Steelers really consider trading WR George Pickens during the draft? We discuss that possibility during this show as well. Josh posted a new mock draft version on Friday morning so the three of us review his six selections for the Steelers. Later in this Friday show, the three of us discuss the Steelers offseason practice schedule that was released on Thursday. Additionally, we discuss if the Steelers might break out another alternate uniform during the 2025 regular season. Would Hard Knocks dare feature the Steelers in 2025? We discuss the possibility of that happening during this show as well.
