0:45.0	Mark and I as well have the feeling that the American Revolution has really been undersung and underscored.
0:51.0	Mark has a PhD in American history from Rutgers University.
0:55.7	He's a professor emeritus of history at Keene University from which he retired as
1:00.3	Vice President for Academic Affairs in 2011.
1:03.0	He is the author and co-author of 11 books and many articles and reviews in early American
1:08.8	Social, Military and Institutional History.
1:12.0	He helped establish the crossroads of the American
1:15.0	Revolution National Heritage Area as their first Vice President. He lives in Richmond, Virginia
1:20.5	with his wife, Rutgers University Librarian, America, and author Penny Booth Page.
1:26.0	Mark, it's great to have you with us today on the show and I'm really enjoying your book, The Ten Key

1:33.4	Well thank you John I let me just say one thing I wrote an essay in it the editor of the
1:40.0	volume is a friend of mine named Ed Lengel and I think he gave me credit as editor there too which is
1:46.2	which is great it's a terrific volume and I'm pleased to be affiliated with it but
1:50.5	Ed's a friend and I thought I better give him credit there.

1:55.2	What I really like about it, a lot of the American history books,
