A few weeks ago, a friend called me and wanted to talk about an issue.

I've been trying to witness to him for seven years.

I said, you named the time I'll be there.

And I met with him.

And interesting that I've been praying for him and witnessing him for seven years.

And I keep saying, Lord, when is he going to come to the kingdom?

And then I read about George Mueller, prayed for somebody for over 20 years. I don't know. I got that kind of patience.

And I had this opportunity to talk to him about whatever he wanted to talk about. And then he asked

me, he said, what are you preaching on these days? I said, well, I'm actually preaching a series

on the Ten Commandments. And he kind of grinned and said, well, you should have consulted

me. I broke just about every one of them. And then he stopped. He said, no, no, I take that back.

I never killed anybody. So I waited. And then I said to him, I said, said you know you're a better man than me

because I broke every one of those ten commandments

he was silent for a few seconds and then he turned to me and said have you been in the military

I said no no I've never had that privilege and uh, he's as if to say you're not in prison.

What are you doing here?

Then I said to him, before Christ came into my life, I murdered many people in my heart.

I'll get back to that in a minute, but needless to say,

it gave me another new opportunity

to witness to him about the incredible grace of God through which we are saved and not through

the keeping of the law.
