Here's the title of the message. The title is The Teacher. 48 times in the

Gospels Jesus is referred to as the teacher.

48 times in four books of the Bible,

he is called the teacher.

Did you know that there are even atheists that have made the statement that Jesus is one of the

greatest teachers that ever lived and I believe obviously because he's the

son of God he's the greatest teacher that ever lived.

So he is a great teacher.

So before we get to John 7, though, let me just read you a couple of other verses,

all right?

Matthew 13, verse 54, says when he had come to his own country he taught them in their

synagogue and it's important he went to their church so that they were astonished

that this word astonished and said where did this man get this wisdom and these mighty works?

Matthew 2233, and when the multitudes heard this, they were astonished at his teaching. Now here in John Chapter 7 these are two of my

favorite verses in the Bible and I know I tell you that a lot but I have lots of favorite verses all right but John 7 verse 32 says

The Pharisees heard the crowd murmuring these things that he was he might he was the Messiah concerning him and the

Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him or to arrest him, so they sent the police to arrest him. Now look at

verses 45 and 46 of John 7. Then the officers came to the chief priests and

Pharisees who said to them why have you not brought him and the officer said no man ever spoke like this man

I love that they sent the police to arrest him and the police got baptized.

Think about this, they went to arrest him and started listening to him teaching and they were spellbound.

I don't know if you've ever thought about this, but obviously he's the greatest teacher that's ever taught. But obviously because he is truth.
