Hello, everyone, and welcome back to the Taste Makers podcast. This is, of course, a podcast where we talk about everything in the world of TV and film, let you know what's good, what's not, and what's happening. I'm your host, Sharon Armstrong, and with me, as always, is Grace Leader. How are you doing, Grace?

I'm doing well, Taryn. I feel like it's warming up in the part of the world where I live a little bit. I feel like the TV seasons maybe warming up a little bit as well, I think. Some good TV on, I think, right now. TV's been pretty good. Yeah. I mean, every Thursday I get to look forward to watching the pit.

Yeah, we're about halfway, just one episode, two episodes past halfway. We should, I feel like

that would be worth a check-in. It's the pit. I feel sad that it ends, you know? I know. I don't

want it to end. I know. I like just having it in my life. Luckily, it's on a quick schedule.

Yes, plenty to talk about today as we catch up on some of the things that we've watched

over the last couple of weeks, some of the things that are airing about to air, some movies

that are out. Of course, the Oscars are coming up the Academy Awards this coming Sunday.

There's some news and some sort of like back and forth conversation about that.

And we have not yet talked about the Paramount Netflix battle.

It has, in fact, ended with Paramount winning the bid for Warner Brothers Discovery.

But Netflix sent me an email many months ago, saying they bought HBO.

Remember that?

Remember when they emailed us all?

We're like, hey, it's good.

We got it.

So we'll talk a little bit about that.

We're not exactly breaking at this point.

If you listen to or read any discussion about these kinds of things, then you've already

heard plenty, I'm sure, but we'll give you a breakdown, a quick breakdown in our thoughts

on the situation as well.
