It's been a busy week for me and I don't know about you but I've spent a lot of it sending up a lot of prayers for a lot of people and I bet you have to.

Oh for sure. It's been.

An interesting time filled with a lot of anxiety and wondering and hoping and praying.

So I'm just the I you know I think we all even though these storms are passing now I think we need to continue sending up prayers.

Oh absolutely hurricane season was reached its midpoint on September 15th.

So we're not even halfway. We're just that halfway through the hurricane season.

And folks continue please to send up prayers and thoughts and whatever else you can do not only for people here in the United States but those islands that were so horribly hit.

Please please please keep them in your thoughts but please don't donate your winter clothes.

Please don't do that.

After hurricane Mitch my daddy wanted to send his wool suits to Nicaragua.

It's like daddy.

So do what you do what you feel you'll call to do but do it with some consideration for what folks probably really need.

In any case just they're doing right now here for brand new packs of underwear and socks.

That's yes that's the bowl that's nice.

Yeah I thought there's an organization in America that helps provide diapers to shelters which I just think is wonderful and a lovely idea.

So that's the sort of thing.

I remember after a hurricane we had here some years ago it was the first really big storm we had in some years and canned food was coming in like crazy.

But there was no electricity and this was in the day of electric can opener.

So I sent out a call to a friend of mine who was very active in her church and I said I need can opener.
