This is a historical episode, a picture of the disputation of Paris.

A little deep dive into what was,

effectively, the trial of the Talmud. On June 12th, 1240, there is an account of perhaps the most

important interface that Roman Catholicism, formal Christendom has had with the Babylonian Talmud,

which is the primary book of modern rabbinic Judaism. By modern Judaism, I mean Judaism after 70 AD. And more specifically,

after the 5th century AD, most Christians out there don't actually know what's going on.

And when the Epstein files were dumped on January 30th and 31st, just a couple of

days ago, three days ago, four days ago, you see a lot of reference to Goy and Goyim, which is the

Jewish word for basically Christian cattle or Gentile cattle, non-Jews, who are according to their

holy book, the Talmud, not according to the Torah, but the Talmud, they're able to lie, cheat,

steal from Goi, that's us, and even kill us. And at some places,

even perhaps ritually murder, according to some scholars of the Talmud. So the primary Christian

misunderstanding seems to be, well, don't we share the Old Testament?

No, there are five categories of charges brought against the Talmud by very important men,

two very important saints indirectly, Saint King Louis the 9th and

Saint Pope Gregory the 9th, who are both more or less directly connected to this 1240 AD Dispitation

of Paris.

We're going to talk about the main character there, a man named Nicholas Donon, D-O-N-I-N,

who under the guidance with the ratification of these two men, Gregory the 9th and Louis

the 9th, both saints, basically put the Talmud itself on trial in Christendom.
