Hello everyone and welcome to The Podcast. My name is Chris. My name is Jason.

And this is The Talking Dead, number 635 recorded on Monday, July the 10th, 2023.

July. That's exactly what month it is. I can't believe how fast the summer is flying by.

I was talking to someone earlier today, Jason, about when we can maybe get together with them and see them at some point.

And we realized, well, I have another week and a half of work, not even before we go on vacation.

I, as in, my family goes on vacation for a while. And their, their family is going away.

And when they come back, their kids go to camp. And there'll be like a couple days in between.

And my kids will get busy towards the end of the summer. We have a French exchange student coming to live with us.

And by then the summer's over. And like, he'll just be back to school and fall.

And it'll be like it never happened.

Yeah. Well, I'll think of it this way. Chris, the days are getting shorter already.

I know. I know we're two weeks, three weeks or whatever past the longest day of the year here.

And it's getting shorter. I know. Pretty soon it's going to snow.

Yeah, you're probably not wrong. You're probably not wrong.

All right. I'm feeling a little off today. I just want to go to bed.

So can we do a podcast before do you think?

Well, it's up to you, my friend. If you're, if you don't want to want to go to bed, I, you know, I always want to go to bed, but that's just me.

So whatever you feel like doing, let's do it.

I'm going to do my best. We are going to power through. We need to do a podcast.

And then I'll go to bed. So I do want to start with a couple of quick news items, though, Jason, before we get into the Walking Dead Dead City.
