Hello everyone and welcome to The Talking Dead Podcast. My name is Chris, and my name is Jason,

and this is episode number 629 recorded on Monday June 5, 2023. All right, I was unsure of the date

for a second there, but I think I got it right. You did. You did. As far as my recollection of the

date goes, that is correct. So Jason, that's good to hear. You were off this week. How was your

week off? It was very exhausting. I moved to all my office around and rearranged everything and

took my desk completely apart and then put it back together and had to rewire it and

it was a pain. I changed a bunch of cables and stuff, but it does it does it feel good to be done

or you better set up now. All good to go. It is not done Chris. I am pretty close to being done. I

don't like how the mixing board overlaps with my work laptop at the moment. I'm not happy with

that layout. So I ordered a part that's coming on Wednesday and then I'm going to have to drill

another couple of holes and then reorganize some stuff and then I can do final cable management.

Final. Is this the kind of project that will never truly be finished? If I stop fucking

by and shit, then yes, it'll be done. Or if they stop giving me new computers for work,

then it'll be done. Maybe I just take this desk as is and the next time I need to redo anything,

I'll just start over with a new desk. Leave this one as it is as like an archive. Sure. Historical

monument of some kind. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Well, at least you're up and running enough to

record a podcast. That's all I really care about. Yeah. No, that was that was the primary goal.

So that was the first thing I did was to make sure that the computers turned on and that I could

podcast. Perfect. Perfect. You've got your priorities straight clearly. It's all wired, wired up.

All right. Well, that's excellent. I'm, you know, it's nice to have a week off in any case.

I don't have any time off, but that's fine. I'll have some time off later in the year.
