Hello, everyone. Welcome to The Talking Dead podcast. My name is Chris, and my name is Jason, and this is episode number 627 recorded on Wednesday, May the 24th, 2020, 23.

It's Wednesday. It's a weird night for a podcast, Jason. It's a weird night. Wednesday being weird. It's a weird Wednesday. I couldn't start podcast with the W.

0:50.0

No, well, it's a podcast, huh? Weird night for a Wednesday is a weird night for a webcast, a podcast, a podcast, a podcast. That's something else. I don't know.

Well, here we are Wednesday. Sorry about that, everyone, but as we said last week, it was a holiday. We were both away. We had some stuff to do, and I just had to delay a day, but we're here. We're excited and rare and to go, right?

1:16.0

Okay, perfect. As excited as Jason ever gets anyways. That's true. Yeah, there you go. All right. Well, we are going to be talking about the second episode of season 8 of Fear The Walking Dead, that aired on Sunday, of course.

1:36.0

And first, though, I'm going to do a little bit of listener feedback about last week's episode, the first episode of season eight of Fear The Walking Dead. So let's dig right into that right now.

1:50.0

Listen, our feedback.

1:53.0

Okay, our first thing here is a call from Dan and New Jersey.

1:57.0

Hey, guys, this is Dan and New Jersey. I was greatly amused by your recent review of the dumpster fire first episode of the final season of Fear The Walking Dead.

2:10.0

You know, I watched season one, and then I thought this show isn't that great. I mean, it was okay, but I had other things to watch, and it wasn't that great.

2:22.0

So I decided not to watch it. And then listen to your podcast for the main show, and then, you know, you would switch over and listen in what review Fear The Walking Dead.

2:33.0

And so I tried to pick it up. I can't remember what season that was four, five, six, somewhere in there. I watched some of it.

2:43.0

It was a real bad, real bad. So I stopped. And I think I flip flopped on that decision, and you guys got me to watch it again.

2:52.0

And I watched a little bit of last season, and that was really bad, like unbelievably stupid. I just felt like it was an insult to anyone potentially watching the show how bad it was written.

3:05.0

So, you know, I flipped flopped on the decision to watch it, to not watch it, to watch it. And so I decided not to watch it.

3:14.0

And just I just listened to you guys reviewing it. And now, with your review of the first episode, I feel like I'm missing out on how bad it is.

3:24.0

I mean, it's fun to hear your description, but maybe I need to flip flop again. I don't know.

3:29.0

I wonder if there's any TV show I could watch to help me give me tips and pointers on the best way to flip flop in the most illogical and stupid way possible.

3:38.0

I guess we'll find out. Thanks guys. Good luck.

3:42.0

Yeah, Dan, I guess we will find out, but I would recommend that you do indeed flip flop and watch the show.

3:49.0

Yeah, then don't watch it right afterwards. Exactly. And then maybe watch it again right after that.
