Hello everyone and welcome to The Talking Dead podcast. My name is Chris, and my name is Jason, and this is episode number 624 recorded on Monday, April the 17th, 2023.

Welcome to the show everyone. Jason, how's it going this week? I think you've had a busy one. It's been extremely busy. Just lots of work and not enough time to play video games that aren't really working for me anyway.

That's unfortunate for anyone that doesn't know that they're Jason and I chat pretty frequently, nearly every day. I hear all about his work life. He hears about my work life because instead of working, we talk to each other on messenger and things like that.

You just need a mental break. There's a step away from this fucking bullshit and ground myself in the dulcet tones of Christopher's typing.

That's awfully nice of you, but that's what we do. I hear about what's going on in his day and vice versa and things like that. And just lately, it sounds like it's been a bit of a slog.

And that's okay. That happens sometimes. One more day. One more day. Just if I can get through tomorrow, then the next six weeks, four weeks, six weeks will be a breeze. So I just have to get through tomorrow.

Oh, well, that's not bad. One day for six weeks of a breeze. Perfect. Yeah, well, I got a lot of work to do to get through tomorrow. I probably will have to work after this podcast and then get up early and work tomorrow and then work all day tomorrow and then deliver training. And then once I've done that, then I'll probably just take my shirt off.

Go crawl into my furnace room and have a good cry. But after that, six weeks of easy shirtless crying. No problem. Yeah, I don't want to jinx it or anything, but this should be, yeah, it should be fine. Well, that's good. That's good.

Sometimes the way it goes. So it's been a little while since we've podcasted. I see, I feel like I say that every time recently because, you know, some weeks do go by in between shows.

And that's really because the walking dead universe is pretty quiet these days. I mean, yes, there's lots of things in production. There's lots of things coming up.

And there are like set photos and spoilers and things like that out there. But I don't want to get into those because we don't, we don't want to spoil ourselves or anybody else. So there's just not a lot going on in the universe right now.

Although we're leading up to fear, which starts in under a month at this point. And that's when things are going to kick into high gear and we'll have plenty of walking dead stuff to talk about. Yeah.

Let me ask you a question, Chris. Sure. You know, you know, you know, driving about town or doing whatever about town going places here and there and everywhere.

Do you make mental note of possible zombie apocalypse supply areas?

You know, it's I would I'm not going to say it's never happened, but it's it's not always the top of mind, but I do sometimes have those thoughts as I'm walking around driving around doing whatever.

Yeah. You know, on Saturday, I've been cleaning out the garage and I took a few trips to the transfer station to get rid of a bunch of recycling and garbage and stuff.

Every time I go through to the transfer station, it's in kind of a commercial area, industrial area. And when I drive around one place, there's this aluminum factory.

I don't know what they make. It's just called like Jimmy's aluminum works or something. I don't know what it's called. That's not the real name, but there's these stacks of giant aluminum ingots.

Just sitting it like they're all fenced in and all secure and stuff. And I'm like, geez, that'd be interesting to have like the big fucking giant aluminum ingot. I wonder what I could do with that.

And then right next door is a paving stone factory.

All right. So this like pallets of like paving stones good for, you know, making walls. Sure. So I'm thinking, you know, zombie apocalypse.
