Hi, my name is Jason and my name is Chris and this is The Talking Dead, episode number 577 recorded Thursday, March 24th, 2022.

0:39.0

It sure is. Hey gang, welcome to the podcast. Jason, how's it going this week?

0:44.0

It's going okay. It's going okay. I think for a Thursday, it's okay. I've never really gotten the hang of Thursdays.

0:52.0

You know, Thursdays aren't bad. At my office, they call it Friday, Jr.

0:56.0

Yeah, Friday light or Friday, Friday Eve.

0:59.0

Yeah, I don't know. That's obviously not a unique thing, but every single Thursday at our 11 a.m. status meeting, someone starts it off by saying happy Friday, Jr.

1:11.0

Oh, well, that's nice. I remember being in rehearsals in Julia, but also would always we'd always rehearse on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

1:17.0

So she would always always say happy day of Thursdays. Well, that's a good one too. It's a good one too. So I use that every now and again.

1:24.0

That's when you were playing in a band and you put out an album and everything. I bet people would love to hear that.

1:30.0

Maybe, you know, there was there was a song on that album called The Lucky Ones, which is the name of an episode that happened a couple of weeks ago.

1:38.0

Good, good point. Yeah. Now listen, is it available anywhere? Oh, Lord, no.

1:43.0

Oh, so we're just teasing everyone. Like I have a copy around here somewhere. I have two copies. I could just put it online. Maybe I should do that.

1:51.0

My life to do that. I don't know. It's not like the copyright holder might come after you, which is who? I'm really sure. I think it might be me.

2:01.0

It's either you or Scott probably Scott and Julia and I. So it's the three of us. And I think the way we worked it was Scott had 50% and Julia and I each had 25 because Scott wrote the songs.

2:13.0

Right. So I think he took the majority share of

2:19.0

the mechanical, not really royalties. Yeah, the copyright. So yeah, it's the three of us. Well, I mean, it says said on the album, what the copyright is.

2:27.0

But it's also an address, which has no bearing to reality whatsoever. Right. I should think through the boxes of old compact discs I have and see if I can pull it out.

2:37.0

I mean, it wouldn't be completely insane to like throw the songs up on YouTube or something, right? Like, could we do that?

2:45.0

Yeah, I reach out to Scott and just make sure it's okay, but yeah, all right. I don't see why not. Okay.

2:50.0

It's not like we're making any money on it or, you know, putting them on YouTube is going to cost us any royalty money that we normally would have gotten elsewhere.

2:58.0

No. Well, I think I think that would be fun. I bet you people would like to hear your old band. I mean, you're the drumming on that album is top notch.
