Not too bad not too bad. You know it feels like it's been a while since we've podcasted although we've been sort of on an every

other week schedule for a month or month and a half now but it hasn't been three

weeks or four weeks no it's only being Oh my God. I know but it feels like a long time and I wonder if that's because

you know I didn't even talk that much this week which is unusual for us.

Yeah, there was very little chatting.

I've been mired in work and life.

Yeah, as have I actually work.

You've been absent and unusually cold?

Well, I'll, I'm sorry about that, I'll try to warm up.

But no, work has been, you know, a busy slog for a little while for both of us, I think, and a lot of things going on in the world.

But I guess we were just busy with other things but it was unusual and it made the it made the two weeks pass

Slowly or something does feel slow feels very slowly. Well, here we are into, you know, halfway through June. Good Lord, where does the time go? We're still, of course, dealing with this global coronavirus pandemic that is, that has shut down the planet.

Well, good portions of it anyways. Where you and I live, they are slowly phasing in a reopening

strategy and in fact where you live even more so than where I live because I am I am

sort of closer to the center of the city and we're, I don't know, taking it slower where I am.

Yeah, and it does feel like things are coming back online, but slowly. And slow is good. You know, let's do it right. Let's do it slowly. Let's take our time.

Make sure everything's okay.

I heard a new phrase last week that we've been unhinged from the future, which, you know,

we're kind of, you know, I phrased it for a long time is that you know we're on pause yeah right we just the whole world is pause but unhinged from the future which means you know it's hard to make plans like well

when do you want to take vacation this summer? I don't know. What's the point?
