And this is The Talking Dead, a podcast dedicated to the AMC TV series The Walking Dead. Oh, Hello everybody. Thanks so much for joining us again on the Talking Dead. This is

episode number 34 for December 6th 2010 and we have now officially seen the entire

first season of the Walking Dead. That's it it's all over. Are we sad about that

or happy? Well it's you know it's a double-edged sword.

It's a good thing that we have to see all six episodes and they were fantastic,

but it's a sad thing because we saw all six episodes and they were fantastic.

Or that we only saw six episodes and they were fantastic. Or that we only saw six episodes. That's true. Do

you guys think that AMC is kicking themselves now for not ordering more? Not that they

could have known that this was going to be one of the most

successful TV shows of all time but they've got to feel like it's a bit of a

bummer. No I think it'll just feed into season two. I think they'll be able to

milk the success of this season for the next season and they'll get their money don't worry.

Well I know that.

I think they made the right decision.

To do only six Dave?

Do only six.

I think given the time they had to prepare and how fast things seem to move.

I mean, it didn't seem too fast to us, but I mean, I'm sure during production it was go go go.

Jason at what point was it that it was do you remember when it was confirmed that the show was picked up?

Yeah, it was like September of 2009. Are you sure it was was then or yeah because

we that's when they secured the rights I don't think they actually ordered
