How was your weekend, Chris?

My weekend was sort of, it was fine.

I mean, it was, uh, uneventful.

That's good.

My weekend seemed a little short. You were working the whole time, I hear. Well, I was, but it's that daylight savings time. We lost that hour over the weekend, and I'm super pissed about it.

Yeah, you're right. was that today was the first

full day of daylight savings time for 2016 right? Yeah yeah. Why are you pissed about

it? Well because it's pointless. Like it wasn't even the farmers like you really originally everybody thought that not originally but people for a long time been thinking about it that it's the farmer's fault it's not the farmer's fault it was to save gas

for some reason because people use more gas during the night?

I'm not really sure exactly how it saves gas, but it doesn't save gas anymore because

people drive all the time anyway.

Okay, maybe it was, but the idea is that it saves electricity

because you don't have to turn your lights on

as early in the evening because the light, it stays lighter later, right?

That's the idea.

It's irrelevant now. Well, see, this is the thing. I was

thinking about this and every time we spring forward and fall back, there's all

these articles in the news about how stupid it is and why do we do this and it just screws things up and it's bad for your body because it throws off your clock and more people have heart attacks and all that kind of stuff.

And a little part of me always thinks that the people writing these

articles are not the people who live in the northern part of the northern

...
