Welcome to the program everybody.

First of all, apologies at this episode is a couple of days late.

I know it's my fault.

Indirectly, it's my fault.

I know we promised to bring this to you on Monday the what is it 19th would have been Monday

But I had some computer problems and my good old trustee I MAC here had to go to the doctor for five days and I didn't get it back quite in time to get

myself organized for a podcast on Monday. So that's why we're doing it today.

Right so but your computer is not a person and therefore can accept no

responsibility so ultimately the responsibility is yours because it is a piece of property of yours. I guess if

you put it that way that's true. The power supply died. I came down one morning and

it was just off, totally off,en would do nothing, not a single sound or utterance from this computer when I hit that button.

But you brought it in, they, the techie guys did their techie thing and they did they

changed the techie power supply and now it's techie on that's right I took it into

Apple this is a coming up on four-year-old iMac so it's well out of warranty but I took it into the

Apple store nearby and they kept it for about five days and determined that it was

the power supply which made me happy because the power supply is a pretty easy quick fix

All in all it cost me about 120 bucks to get it fixed and that's labor parts and everything. So that's not too bad. The other thing they said it might be was the logic board and if the logic board was gone it was going to be over $700 to fix and at that point I'm not so sure a four-year-old IMAX for 700 bucks would have been worth it.

So if the logic board was gone basically does the computer work it's just crazy?
