Summary

The Tale of the Pie and the Pie Liner is a story of two friends who get together for tea. Ribby, the cat, invites her friend Duchess, the dog, over for pie. Duchess is worried Ribby is going to serve Apple pie because she doesn’t like it but she never told Ribby that. Duchess decides to cook her raspberry and blueberry pie and switch them when the time comes because they both have the same pie pans. Will Duchess be able to make the switch? 0:00.0	Hello, I'm Cheryl, and this is Sleep, Tight, Relax, a calming bedtime podcast for the young and young at heart.
0:25.3	Music at heart. Our sleep story tonight is about two friends who are going to have tea together.
0:34.7	One friend is a cat called Ribby, and the other is a dog called Duchess.
0:46.3	They both like to bake pies, so Ribby has decided to treat her friend Duchess to her famous apple pie.
0:57.0	The problem is that Duchess has not told her friend Ribby that she does not like apple pie.
1:07.0	Duchess knows that Ribby uses pie liners exactly like hers.
1:14.6	So Duchess makes her favorite raspberry and blueberry pie in the same pie plate
1:21.6	and sneaks over to bake her own pie in Ribby's oven, thinking she can switch them and then enjoy the pie she likes.
1:33.3	When Duchess gets to Ribby's house,
1:38.3	she cannot find the apple pie to switch them,
1:42.3	so she puts hers in the oven anyways, hoping to be able to switch
1:47.1	them later.
1:50.9	Duchess hopes that it will be easy to switch the pies and that Ribby will not even notice.
