Oh, it's February 27, 2026, and we are on day 5,739, or day of the Corey Richens trial. I have been waiting for this trial

forever and so far it has been completely unanticipated. The wildness that is this trial has been

unanticipated. I don't know what I expected, but it was not this. I guess I expected

some level of like normalcy in the courtroom. I did not expect the level of popping off

that we have seen in this case. I definitely didn't expect the level of clapping back at the judge, which is surprising.

And yesterday, the judge was just like, we're not doing that.

Let's don't do that.

And I feel like that's what we're all going to be saying to ourselves today, though I remain

optimistic that maybe today is the day that things just like slip back into normalcy

and we don't get all of the popping off. But the

judge has been so patient. I feel like this case is just going to blow right through its

time estimate if we continue with cross-examinations of witnesses who have a little bit to do with massive cross-examinations.

And then with witnesses that are significant, with these wandering, confusing, did we even make a point?

Did it get lost in the middle kind of cross-examinations?

I think there's plenty of valid room to cross-examinations. I think there's plenty of valid room to cross-examine Carmen Lobber. There's

plenty of room for that. But I think it's just going to get lost in the way that the cross-examination

is going, some of the things that are being done in that

cross-examination, and then how confusing the back and forth is. It is not a clean impeachment.
