Summary
Supreme Court justices struck down President Trump’s tariffs in a 6-3 decision, in a crushing blow to his economic agenda. Jan Crawford joins Major at the desk to dissect both the majority and dissenting opinion. The President was informed of that decision while attending a meeting with the National Governors Association, with governors on both sides. Oklahoma Republican Gov. Kevin Stitt, who leads the association, discusses his reaction to the SCOTUS ruling, where his state stands with wildfires and his perspective on immigration enforcement in other states. Meanwhile, Texas continues early voting for races in the Lone Star State. Major interviews Democratic Rep. Julie Johnson, who’s running to retain her seat against former Rep. Colin Allred. All that and more on “The Takeout.”
