Today's talk comes from pastor Ben Stewart.

I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that through a unique set of circumstances I've been able to spend

quality time with Navy SEALs. It's been one of the great honors of my life to be able to do that

and to accompany them on various different training exercises and things like that.

So it was several years ago that one of my friends in the teams invited me to come to their

base on Coronado Island and to attempt to do the Navy Seal obstacle course on the base,

which was a system of walls and wood and ropes and nets

and things you kind of climb and traverse.

So for several grueling minutes, I did that,

left over things, climb things things scurried up things

sweated profusely but at the end of it I completed the obstacle course and then my buddy

there told me hey you finished the obstacle course in just under 12 minutes.

12 minutes is the minimum qualification to become a Navy SEAL.

And I was like, are you kidding me?

I'm like, I could be a Navy SEAL. And then he did it and did it in six

minutes. But I was like you know what he's had more practice and he's a Navy SEAL and so when I had to take like nine Advil a day for the next two weeks

I realized you know what I don't think God has built me to do this. I think I've been finally crafted to read books.

That's my contribution to the world.

But every time I'm with them, that singularity of purpose is so inspirational
