Summary

The tides were turned and I was the guest on the BlackRapid Podcast a few weeks back in Seattle.  Let me explain why you are hearing this interview this week.

Stephen and I were up in NYC at the Photo show filming on the show floor on Thursday and I was back up there on Saturday.  We wanted to put together a special podcast from the photo show in NYC.  So what is happening is Stephen is editing together the best interviews and clips from our filming and we will have a special podcast next week.

We will be back around the poker table to discuss the fans we met, gear we saw and the fun times we had.  I hope you enjoy this little role reversal this week.

Please support AllensCamera.com as they have been behind me since day one.  If you are looking for anything NIKOK new or used please give them a chance.

Jared Polan Froono's Photo.com and if you're sitting there on YouTube or the website wondering, where's the video? Well, there's nothing to see here. And we have good reasons for not showing you what is going on right now because Stephen and I spent Thursday. I also spent

0:22.8

Saturday up at the photo show in New York City, thus why we do not have a podcast, a brand new

0:29.3

podcast. Actually, this is going to be a brand new podcast, just something a little different

0:33.8

that you're going to hear. Unfortunately, you won't see because at the time of this interview, there was no video being recorded. So what you're going to hear, unfortunately you won't see because at the time of this

0:37.7

interview, there was no video being recorded. So what you're going to hear coming up is a really

0:43.4

good interview. I was interviewed by Ron Henry, who's the founder of Black Rapid, when I was over

0:49.3

at Black Rapid Studios in Seattle a couple weeks back when I was out there for Creative Live.

0:55.7

Ron asked me to come in, sit down, and he asked me the questions, and I can say this was a

1:00.2

very, very candid discussion. We covered a lot of different topics that I don't normally

1:05.0

talk about with you guys because he was asking some business questions, where I see myself

1:10.0

going, things that I've done in the past.

1:12.0

So it was pretty much a different type of interview because I was the one being interviewed, which I love.

1:18.7

I love when people ask questions and I can go ahead and answer them because it's just, it's something different.

1:24.0

And I do try to listen more. I'm making a conscious effort everybody to let's see to keep

1:29.7

my mouth shut let people finish their statements before I go ahead and interrupt them with what I would

1:35.9

like to say. Now I used to do that in the past but the problem was every time I would do that I would

1:40.4

forget what I wanted to say. That's why I started to interject and I understand it is a not a good thing. So I am working on it. I'm working on it. Stephen yelled at me the other day.

1:49.9

I know he's not listening, but he yelled at me the other day and he was like, Jared, you need to

1:54.2

stop doing this. Not to him, just in general, to other people, but we're working on it. We all need to work on things, and this is one of the

2:02.0

things I'm going to work on. But coming up in this podcast, you're going to hear this interview

2:06.9

that Ron Henry conducted, and it was good. I enjoyed it. It's about 35-minute interview from Seattle,

2:13.4

so that's coming up shortly, but this is what's going to happen next week. Being that Stephen
