Summary

Deep down our souls want more. Our souls want to play. We each have a calling to fulfill. In this series, originally recorded during Beth's 2016 Living Proof Live held in Chicago, IL, Beth uses the metaphor of The Symphony to explain how everyone has a part to play in God's divine symphony. She address disagreement in the body of Christ, conflict resolution, and spiritual warfare. We pray this message serves you today.

Hey, this is Beth. Listen, what we live for at Living Proof is to serve people the Word of God.

0:13.1

We base our ministry on Hebrews 412 that tells us that the Word is alive and active. We pray this message is going to serve you in some way today and that God

0:22.1

is going to speak through it. Thank you so much for giving us this privilege. All of you turn

0:27.6

with me to Matthew chapter 18. I'd like to start reading at verse 15. If your brother sins against

0:36.1

you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone.

0:41.7

If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.

0:45.4

But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you so that every charge may be

0:49.6

established by the evidence of two or three witnesses.

0:52.4

If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church.

0:56.5

And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.

1:02.5

Now, keep in mind that our megachurches were not in operation when these words were given back in the New Testament early era.

1:15.9

They were mostly house churches.

1:19.0

If not, they just met right outside where there was not some kind of gathering place for them to come.

1:25.6

But they are a group of people that would fit in a

1:28.1

house. So as far as picturing someone, dragging someone up here in front of this group and telling

1:35.2

all 6,000 of you or 500 of you in a church on the other side of the screen, that's not really the

1:42.4

picture here. Picture it in the era that Christ

1:45.8

is saying it. And it says then in verses 18 through 20, go with me there and lock in.

1:51.8

Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven. And whatever you

1:56.6

loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Verse 19, our key word, again I say to you, if two of you

2:03.9

agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my father in heaven.

2:11.0

But where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them. I hope that you will see today there is nothing like the
