You want to take out your Bibles today and open to two passages of scripture as you're used to.

One will be Genesis chapter 3. You can hold your finger there and then you'll flip over to

Ephesians chapter 6. We will begin our time in God's word together talking a little

bit about the armor of God.

This is a great series that we're in.

Pastor Robert is teaching us about the Holy Bible more than words.

And he's talked to us about the bread of heaven.

He's talked to us about the water of life.

These are descriptions of the word in the word, all right?

And last week he talked to us about the breath of God.

Here's the point, is that we don't read the Bible just because it's a good book. It is a good book you know. But I tell you I've got some good books on my shelf that I don't reread because once I've been through it, I got it.

All right?

This book is different.

And the reason that we stay in the word,

that we continue in the word of God,

is because when we take in the word of God we receive the fullness of God

and we take God into ourselves, the Holy Spirit and Jesus, John one says, is the word.

And so when we read the word of God,

we're literally taking God inside of our bodies.

And I'll tell you if God's in the house,

something's going to change. Amen.
