There's a difference between being viable and electable. A viable candidate is a candidate who can win their party's nomination.

And an electable candidate is a candidate who can win a general election.

And they're often different. 2008, 2012, Ran Paul was an electable guy. He was not viable because

ran Paul could never win a primary. Harris is an electable candidate that was never viable.

Like she was never, there was not, yeah, there was never a primary that she could have won,
