Just to kind of start with game two of the Western Conference Finals,

as we're watching, you know,

two games now, just the, and it's obvious these are the two best teams in the NBA, at least the

Western Conference, and how I can never turn my Mavs brain off. And I'm just, I do this every

year. If my team gets eliminated, I watch the next round and I'm thinking how my team would

match up against them. And sometimes it feels kind of close. It's like, okay, maybe the stars would

have a shot here. Maybe the, maybe the Cowboys could play this team close. But as you're watching

the Western Conference finals, you see that these two teams are

light years ahead of where the Mavericks are right now. Well, just the young depth on both

rosters, which it's nice to have a 19 year old as your centerpiece that you can build around. So if

you can get enough young pieces in the draft or however you acquire them, trades, free agency, what have you, maybe you can have a nice, deep young team that Cooper Flagg can grow with.

That's the hope.

But in the short term, it feels like most Mavs fans are excited to see a 34, 35 yearyear-old Kyrie Irvin coming off,

missing a whole season after tearing his ACL in the spring of 2025.

Yeah, that happened in March 25.

I mean, I guess if maybe Dallas was in it,

he could have returned at the end of last year,
