And right now we are sitting down with a 2023 world champion, former big league outfielder

and now first base coach for your Texas Rangers is Travis Jankowski.

What's up, man?

Good to be here. Good to talk to you guys, man, and enjoy it Arizona. Arizona is perfect. I mean, everyday feels very similar, and I'm sure at this point in camp is starting to feel, you know, same for you guys, but you're in a new role this year. I just want to ask, what's it like, is it surreal to go from being a player jumping straight in to the major league coaching side?

I'll tell you what. Not that I didn't respect coaches as a player, but there's a newfound respect for coaches as a coach.

The days are much longer in spring. There's a lot more detail-oriented meetings.

It's a job.

Baseball to me was always like a fun activity that you got paid to play.

As a coach, now it's like not that it's not fun, but there's more of a job.

You know, I got 26 guys to worry about instead of just one.

But I've been absolutely loving it.

Skip is unbelievable.

He's probably, I would argue, the best guy to work for, especially for a first year

coach.

So the relationships I have here kind of from 2023 and 24 with the players is great.

So the comfort level for me is 10 out of 10 right now.
