It's been time on the Rangers weekend that ended in disappointment as the club had a very good chance to win their four game series, excuse me,

against Houston. But yesterday they fall four to three and things started out super positive.

As Texas was able to get three runs off Framber Valdez in the fourth inning, some good

situational hitting. It was great to see. But other than that, they couldn't do much. And then on the

other side, Jack Leiter was, I would argue,

maybe the best we've seen him. He was very efficient. His pitch count did not get him at all

early in the game. And he carried a no hitter into the seventh inning, which eventually got

broken up with a Yainar Diaz, home run to right on a slider way up and out of the zone hit it into the bullpen in right field.

That broke up the no hitter.

But still, no harm, no foul up 3-1, but then the bullpen for the second time in this

series really coughed it up because Friday night, they had a 2-0 lead and then Houston

scored six runs in the seventh frame.

Yeah, I've said it on Diamond Talk before. You can't take this bullpen for granted

because it's been awesome early in the season and they've won a lot of low scoring games.
